COSMETIC EYEBROW TATTOO
(permanent makeup)
Any type of brow treatment that implants ink into the skin is considered a tattoo. This includes traditional Microblading and the more modern technique, Microshading. Microshading is the umbrella term for the many terms you've seen or heard (ombre brows, powder brows, pixel brows, machine brows, etc). I only offer Microshading, and do not offer Microblading. You can read my blog post HERE for my reasons why.
Here's how it works:
-
Pigment implantation: A trained technician uses a specialized machine to deposit pigment into the upper layers of your skin. The goal is light + airy, unlike a traditional tattoo, I want the shape and color to FADE over time.
-
Creating the desired shape: I professionally map out your brows and we collaborate on the shape. This is a very thorough process and can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. We do not proceed without both agreeing upon shape.
-
Color: once shape is agreed upon, I will mix a custom color that enhances your brow hairs and looks good against your skin's undertone.
-
Think of it like a very precise and long-lasting version of eyebrow makeup. It can help:
-
Define and shape: Enhance the shape, fullness, and symmetry of your brows.
-
Fill in gaps: Camouflage sparse areas or areas with hair loss.
-
Save time: Reduce the daily time spent filling in your brows with makeup.
-
Boost confidence: Feel more confident with naturally defined brows.
It is important to note, that this treatment is for those who TYPICALLY do NOT wear a lot of makeup. Ink under the skin can't compete with makeup on top of the skin. If you wear foundation everyday, you will most likely be penciling in your brows a little to complete your look. Permanent makeup is best when minimal makeup is worn,
